Men’s Suit Trends In 2010
In respect to fashion, men’s trends do not change nearly as much as women’s trends do. It seems with men’s fashion that the classics will always rule. A prime example of this is seen men’s suits. Although the style of the suits are always not seasonal, the types of material change.
The new trends in men’s suits are a modern take on the classics. The suits are made of elements of the Victorian Era, 1930s and 1960s to make a modern silhouette.
In picking a suit right now one should look for a style that mimics a military officer. The three key elements would be broad shoulders, slim waist, and slim trousers. Many suits are also coming back with the double-breasted jacket. Originally in the 1980s this suit was designed to hide a plump figure but they have now lost their boxy cut and are designed to accent the well worked masculine body. A great way to show height and a slimmer waist is to get a Kent cut jacket. This is a double-breasted jacket that has a longer lapel line that extends into the waist.
While this is a perfect suit pattern for 2010, 2011 the individual pieces will be classic for years. You can always work components of men’s suiting in without wearing the entire suit.

Coco Model’s Latest Beauty Secret: Minx Nails
If you’ve been following nail trends at all in the past year, then you’ve probably heard of the newest form of revolutionizing nail art called Minx. Though we will never lose touch with our O.P.I favourites, it seems polish has become a thing of the past, as the latest way to paint your nails is with Minx’s printed nail art sheets, little patterned patches that can be applied directly onto the nail. As soon as they were spotted on some of Hollywood’s hottest celebs like Rihanna and Lady Gaga, just about everyone’s been trying to get their hands on this stylish new manicure. Unfortunately, one downside to this development is that it is only available exclusively to specific salons approved by Minx, making it slightly less convenient and difficult to try out as many colour combinations as our little heart’s desire.
Unlike traditional polishes, the great thing about Minx Nails is that there is no dry time, so you no longer have to worry about accidental smudging or chipping. Instead, Minx is made out of a flexible vinyl film that is applied through added heat and pressure ensuring beautiful lasting nails for approximately four to eight days on fingers, and up to four weeks for toes. Finally, the best part of all is that these funky new nail covers come in a wide variety of patterns and colours. The line ranges anywhere from shiny metallic’s and scandalous animal prints for more wild types, to a selection of solid colours for those looking for a simpler look. Whatever design you choose, Minx nails can be easily sealed over top of your nails without causing any damage, leaving your nails just the way you like them, strong and beautiful. So next time you’re in the mood for a little mani/pedi, try finding a salon near you that offers Minx and add some fashion to your fingertips!
